The iPhone SDK is here at long last and already apps are beginning to appear for the platform.
Some developers have mixed feelings about the offering from Apple - a lack of development environment for Windows and Linux users give a huge leg-up to Mac developers already well versed in XCode and Interface Builder.

Jobs wants you to pay him $99 for the privilege of having your app distributed, and also will take 30% of your price for any commercial app you come up with for...ahem...admin and distribution costs. Yeah right.
But that side, you can download the SDK for nothing and the opportunity for mass exposure is immense. So what you waiting for? Go write that killer app you've been thinking about for ages.
